Was dealing with another plumbing company, and their price was just astronomical. So I decided to give Roto-Rooter a call. Not only was their price much more accessible but, much to my amazement, they were able to send a plumber out to me immediately. I barely had to wait 10 minutes. How fortunate! Mo was friendly, professional and had a wonderful attitude of helpfulness. She was a delight to interact with. I also really like that not only did my issue get handled, the work is guaranteed for 6 months. Needless to say, I was happy and recommend them.

Had a plumbing emergency. Tech came out at night. Said to fix the shower valve it would be super expensive due to nighttime rates around $1200, but if we did it the next day, it would be closer to $700–800. We agreed it would be best for them to complete the job the next day. Technician explained they would have to cut through my wall to access the shower valve, which I was fine with. They also said they would patch and repair the Sheetrock upon completion.
There is now a huge hole in my wall and it was just left like that. Both technicians, the one who did the initial visit and the one who completed the job, said the Sheetrock would be repaired upon job completion. I call Roto-Rooter and the lady had nothing for me but, “We don’t usually repair Sheetrock.” Well, maybe you should inform your own technicians that you don’t repair the Sheetrock, because now I’m out $1200 for what seemed to be an easy plumbing repair and a huge hole in my kitchen wall. I’m happy with the shower repair, but the mess that was left in my kitchen with a hole in the wall is unacceptable. I would consider looking at all of your options before calling this company. I was in a rush and needed a problem fixed, so I called who I knew; next time I will look at more companies. Feel like I got bent over for $1200 and then left with an unfinished job.
UPDATE: They did send someone out to fix the hole in the wall, which I truly do appreciate. However, the guy was from Roto-Rooter. So I do have to ask, why wouldn’t they just tell me someone would be out to fix the Sheetrock after the repair instead of me having to come on Google and complain about it first? Seems like they had the ability to fix it all along but tried to get away with not doing it. Either way, they did send someone to fix it and I feel better about the job and price. Updated review to 4 stars instead of 2. Thank you, Roto-Rooter, for doing the right thing.

Very Happy With Roto-Rooter
I called Roto-Rooter this morning because I had another plumbing company come out Saturday and charge me double time, and they did not fix the problem. They were at my rent house within an hour and giving me updates. I got a call from Tyler, who explained everything thoroughly and was able to make the necessary repairs in the timeframe he quoted. I am very happy with them, and they will be getting all of my business now.
